Cultivate radical understanding, love & resilience for the Anthropocene

A six-month communal exploration through the four ‘E’s of the Anthropocene, our current epoch in time which can also be described as the meta-crisis, the Kali Yuga, or the end of the world as we know it.

The aim of this course is to create a deeper collective understanding of the current crisis moment we as humanity face and to deepen into shared communal practices of liberation. The course content will help cultivate equity consciousness, expose the underpinnings of our economic system, foster deeper ecological interconnectedness, and co-develop “contextually relevant” etiquette (the manner in which we approach and interact with other beings, human and more-than-human). We will examine the collective unconscious agreements around the political economy and connect the dots between equity, economy, ecology and etiquette. We will also explore means by which we can dismantle systems of oppression, within our own bodies, within our communities, and within the broader culture at large.

Modules will include:

  • Contextualizing the Anthropocene
  • Ideology and the meta-crisis
  • The logic of late-stage capitalism
  • Hierarchy, patriarchy, and violence
  • White supremacy
  • What then shall we do?

This course will have a full group size of up to 100 that meet once a month for a 3 hour interactive session with world renowned guest speakers and discussion time. The full group will be split into two cohorts of up to 50 each that meet once a month for a more intimate 2 hour sessions facilitated by Carlin Quinn & Alnoor Ladha. Please choose the cohort that works best for your schedule.

Main Session (All Cohorts): One Saturday/Month, 9am-12pm PST
Cohort A: One Additional Saturday/Month, 9am-11am PST
Cohort B: One Monday/Month, 9am-11am PST
